Le zuppe di verdura siciliane si chiamano caponata e non sono da confondere con l&#8217;antico piatto marinaresco fatto con gallete (o freselle) inumidite in acqua e condite con olio, aceto, acciughe sotto sale o altri ingredienti disponibili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ci sono zuppe di verdura molto pi\u00f9 semplici, come quella fatta con patate e zucchine, che non hanno un nome particolare e identificano semplicemente con l&#8217;indicazione degli ingredienti.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>They are preparations whose ingredients are reminiscent of Proven\u00e7al ratatouille and Ligurian rattatuja; depending on the locality, they are called ciambotta or cianfotta and consist mainly of peppers, aubergines, courgettes and tomatoes, but also of potatoes, fresh green beans, squash blossoms and celery, and are served warm or cold.
